Bio of Jim Fortin

One of America’s most dynamic speakers, Jim Fortin is on a passionate mission to help and serve others. For almost 20 years, Jim has helped countless people training them in the areas of sales influence, human effectiveness and NeuroPersuasion^®.

Jim earned his undergraduate degrees in psychology and political science from Texas Lutheran University in 1985. Since 1992, he has worked with the Peak Performance Corporation in Atlanta and Dallas. Jim led an exclusive and successful coaching practice in NYC from 1998 to 2001, advising the highest echelon of business, celebrity and politics. In 2001, Jim founded Mind Authority, Inc. and partners in various “behind the scene” activities with other speakers and organizations.

Jim is a certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a certified Master Hypnotist. Using advanced hypnotic language patterns and social science, Jim has merged both areas of expertise into a new and highly effective persuasion technology called NeuroPersuasion^®. These persuasive techniques are helping sales people at every level shorten sales cycles and move customers to action.

In 2005, Jim was hand-selected to be the national spokesperson for The Learning Annex Speaker’s Academy, based in New York City. Jim was “Guru to the Gurus,” sharing the speaking roster with Donald Trump, Tony Robbins, George Foreman, Robert Kiyosaki, Dr. Phil, Suze Orman and Marshall Sylver, in addition to hundreds of other national experts.

Jim is the author of “The Owner’s Manual No One Gave You!” His next book, “The Human Myth Revealed” will be available in late Spring 2010.
